Early one morning in 2007 as I drove down Locust Avenue in downtown Des Moines on my way to Kingdom House of Prayer, the clouds were dense accept for a dozen or so holes where the sunlight was beaming through the cloud cover like spotlights. The brightest one landed directly on the gold dome of our Iowa state capitol and it reflected off the dome and into my eyes like it was on fire. And then I heard the voice of the Lord…,”Randy, I’m giving you a GovernMantle” “A mantle to govern…”

I parked my car, went up to the prayer room, put on some worship music and inquired of the Lord, “What did You just say?” I’ve spent the last six years seeking the Lord, gaining understanding, putting this mantle into practice in my own life and now sharing it with others.

As children of God, we are government administrators on the earth. We are on this planet to govern it, or as Genesis 1:28 says, “to rule over it and subdue it”. To govern is to “direct the flow of…” we direct the flow of life and death, healing or disease, ideas and resources, favor and love, joy and peace, faith and fear and on and on. With our words and with our actions we govern our selves, our spheres and our culture everyday whether we know it or not.
God knows it… the angels know it… the devil and his demons know it… we are mostly unaware of it based on our actions and results. However, things are changing. The sons and daughters of God are beginning to be revealed in the earth. (Rom 8:19) We are beginning to take action based on our belief that we are the children of God with a mantle to govern on earth from the inside out.

That’s where I’ve discovered the GovernMantle begins… as a Kingdom seed inside of each of us. We partner with God to grow it so that we govern our self with the government of God first.

I must rule over my thoughts, my flesh, my finances, my marriage, my children, my talents, my callings and my life FIRST!

When I demonstrate faithful governing over my self then I can extend that governing to my sphere. And as I demonstrate the fruit of this GovernMantle in my sphere, I am poised to govern at the gates of culture with Christ.
As I have put this into practice in my own life, the Lord is giving me more to steward faithfully. He has given me a process for empowering others in this transformation. We’ve developed a series of experience workshops that equip believers for accelerated, measurable, sustainable growth. The Lord called this process an “inducer”. ©

In molecular biology an inducer reveals and neutralizes whatever is repressing the DNA from transcribing the design codes to every part of the body in order to accelerate the completion and fullness of design.

Simply stated, the inducer is a process of training involving three components. Reveal, Respond, and Resolve. First, we have a revelation of a mindset that is out of agreement with God through experience learning. Second, we respond by taking responsibility for remedying it. Finally, we take action with resolve that agrees with God.

This process results in accelerated growth, fruitfulness and authority to govern. This is the GovernMantle in action. When we live it, we grow in authority and begin to shape culture from the inside out.
